The Silesian Association of Architects (SARP), Katowice branch, and the Institute of Architecture Documentation invite you to a unique exhibition of archival photos from the construction of Spodek.
The vernissage will begin on October 21st at 6:00 PM at the SARP Gallery of Architecture, located at 9 Dyrekcyjna Street in Katowice.
The exhibition features photographs by Jacek Sykora, commissioned by Mostostal Zabrze, documenting the various complex stages of construction and assembly of the hall.
On the same evening, we will also have two other exhibitions in different spaces! The SARP Club Gallery will host a photography exhibition from this year’s World Architecture Day. In our corridor, there will be another photography exhibition from World Architecture Day 2020. The main exhibition itself will be in our intimate gallery space on the upper floor!
But that’s not all. At 7:00 PM, the band Moon Hoax will perform on the stage in the SARP Club Gallery, taking us on a cosmic journey!
And there’s still more. On that day, sets featuring Spodek will be available for purchase, as well as our entire bookshelf!
